What to expect
The procedure is very gentle. In the first visit, the canal is disinfected chemically without scraping, so there is minimal noise or vibration. In the second visit, a small amount of bleeding is induced from the root tip — it might feel like a minor pinch, but local anaesthesia ensures complete comfort.

Cleaning the canal gently using chemical washes without scraping.
During the first visit, local anaesthesia is administered. The pulp chamber is opened and the canals are cleaned gently using chemical washes (sodium hypochlorite) without scraping the thin, fragile walls.
Gentle cleaning removes bacteria while protecting the thin root walls.
Antibacterial Dressing

Placing an antibacterial paste to sterilise the canal.
A low-concentration double or triple antibiotic paste (or calcium hydroxide) is placed inside the canal to sterilise it. The tooth is sealed with a temporary filling for 2 to 3 weeks.
The paste sanitises the canal completely without damaging the stem cells.

Inducing bleeding from the root tip to bring stem cells into the canal.
During the second visit, the canal is flushed. The endodontist passes a fine instrument beyond the root tip to induce controlled bleeding, filling the canal with blood.

As the blood clots, it forms a natural scaffold. A sterile collagen membrane barrier is placed over the blood clot to create a stable base for the sealing materials.

Capping the canal with bioceramics and placing the permanent seal.
The collagen barrier is capped with a biocompatible bioceramic material (MTA or calcium silicate), and the access cavity is restored with a permanent composite seal.
This tight seal protects the regenerating tissue, allowing the root to grow.
